"Fulfillment"
-acrylic painting (scroll for explanation)
“The main aspect of this painting was how some people see fulfillment in life. Stemming from the face in the bottom right corner, you can follow the word “fulfillment” moving upwards. This fulfillment being the thing people work towards in life, in the “hope?” that theres someone “watching?” their actions, but “who?” is that higher power? Why may people try to “climb the ladder” towards it, what is it for? When it all comes down to it, finding fulfillment in life can be dependent on the individual.
The space under the eyes represents this fulfillment people climb towards, which ends up flowing back down and pooling up around the individual. “It all comes back,” back to the person, begging the question of why they tried to fulfill things for someone/something else, when this fulfillment can only be judged by the individual who searches for it.

The basis of this painting came after the passing of a family member months back, what it all means to live a life fulfilled, and the general questions that surround me sometimes when thinking about what life is all for if we are trying to fulfill things for someone/something else?
